Indigenous Voices Matter 2.0
This week Barb Colaizzi, WEOHT Indigenous Engagement Lead, Naty Ramirez Reyes, CKHA Executive Lead EDIAR, and Angela Duckworth, CKHA Indigenous Transition Navigator, attended London Health Sciences Centre’s Indigenous Voices Matter 2.0 report out on what they are doing to improve health outcomes and experiences for First Nations, Inuit, Métis and Urban Indigenous communities. This was a wonderful afternoon of sharing, community and hearing about what has been done to advance health and wellness supports and services for all Indigenous Peoples.
As we move forward across Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent, we have many opportunities to improve care experiences and contribute to better health outcomes for Indigenous patients.
