Save the Date! WEOHT Trans Health Clinical Skill Development Conference May 30th, 2024
In collaboration with Centretown Community Health Centre, the WEOHT will offering a Trans Health Clinical Skill Development opportunity for Windsor-Essex Primary Care Providers and Health Stakeholders.
Centretown Community Health Centre (CCHC)’s Trans Health Clinic (THC) is offering a capacity building to primary health care organizations/clinics interested in developing and consolidating clinical skills in the delivery of trans health care, specifically hormone initiation and surgery referrals, as well as the identification of existing resources for leveraging wrap-around supports. The initiative will be led by primary care providers (PCPs) who work at CCHC’s Trans Health Clinic, with some support and training provided by other members of our Trans Health Team.
CCHC’s THC is proud to have received the Health Care Innovation Award in 2023 from the Alliance for Healthier Communities for this work with The Ottawa Hospital, and The Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital.
