WECHU to Host 2 Monthly Community of Practice Meetings for Congregate Living Settings, Long-Term Care and Retirement homes.
The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) invites local community partners within our Long-term care, Retirement, and Congregate Living sectors to join our monthly Community of Practice (CoP). Our meetings will focus on best practices for Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC). As part of our population-level focus, the aim is to foster knowledge exchange, collaboration, learning, and capacity building amongst IPAC leads with respect to diseases of public health significance.
Long-term care and Retirement home meetings will be held on the last Thursday of every month.
Congregate Living Settings Meetings will be held on the first Thursday of every month.
