Mobile Medical Support (MMS) and Other Resources for Those Without A Family Doctor

Mobile Medical Supports (MMS) provides Primary Care Check-ups and other services for those in need of care. MMS can also help you get connected to a Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner for ongoing primary care.
There is no cost for the Mobile Medical Support services and you don’t need an OHIP card or even ID. No Appointment required!
These services are available to the general public, migrant workers, uninsured persons, refugees, asylum seekers, newcomers, seniors… everyone in the community!
Virtual Urgent Care

London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) and St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH) are pleased to offer virtual urgent care to residents of Ontario. All you need is an Ontario Health Card, email address, and access to a device connected to the internet
Adult and paediatric appointments are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can book an appointment by visiting UrgentCareOntario.ca or by calling 1-844-227-3844
Virtual urgent care might be appropriate for you (or a family member) if you have a medical issue that is NOT life-threatening but requires urgent medical attention and you’re unable to access timely care through a primary care provider.
In the event of a life-threatening emergency, please call 9-1-1 or go to your local emergency department.

Cancer Screening
If you do not have a primary care provider, contact Ontario Health at 1-866-662-9233 to talk about next steps in screening.

Ontario Health operates the cancer screening programs in our province. These screening programs are guided by published evidence and high-quality research.
Click on any of the screening button links to the right to find out more and connect to screening resources.
Regular screening can catch cancer when it’s most treatable, and in some cases, even prevent it from developing!
