Healing the Space Between Us ~ Inspired by the KAIROS Blanket Exercise

 Thursday, May 21, 2026

The WEOHT invites you to participate in an experiential learning journey on
colonialism, racism and First Nations, Inuit and Métis Health.

This interactive, experiential learning activity is to help participants better
understand the historical and ongoing impacts of colonization on First
Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples in Canada, with a main focus on healthcare.

Through movement, storytelling, and reflection, participants are guided
through key events that have shaped Indigenous experiences and realities.
What to expect: Participants will be invited to listen, move, and engage
respectfully in a shared learning space. The experience may evoke strong
emotions as it explores topics such as displacement, loss, resilience, and
resistance.

No prior knowledge is needed; only an open mind and a willingness to learn.

When : Thursday, May 21, 2026

Where : 1453 Prince Rd, Windsor, ON N9C 3Z4
