Connect to social services and programs, community supports, and non-emergency health services. Dial 2-1-1 to speak with a Community Resource Specialist. Service is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week in over 150 languages and dialects.

Connect with a registered nurse day or night for free, secure and confidential health advice. Access safe, high-quality care, and avoid unnecessary visits to the emergency room. This service is an easy way to get connected to care you or your loved ones need.

Dial 911 in an emergency when you need immediate help from police, fire or ambulance services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency call 911. Text with 9-1-1 is available for people who are part of the deaf, deafened, hard of hearing, or speech impaired (DHHSI) community in Canada. Virtual Urgent Care
London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) and St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH) are pleased to offer virtual urgent care to residents of Ontario. All you need is an Ontario Health Card, email address, and access to a device connected to the internet
Adult and paediatric appointments are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can book an appointment by visiting UrgentCareOntario.ca or by calling 1-844-227-3844
Virtual urgent care might be appropriate for you (or a family member) if you have a medical issue that is NOT life-threatening but requires urgent medical attention and you’re unable to access timely care through a primary care provider.
In the event of a life-threatening emergency, please call 9-1-1 or go to your local emergency department.
Cancer Screening
Your primary care provider is your main contact for cancer screening.
If you do not have a primary care provider, contact Ontario Health at 1-866-662-9233 to talk about next steps in screening.

Immunizations
Routine immunizations are available through Primary Care Providers and some walk-in clinics. Student Immunization Clinics through the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU). Catch-up immunization clinics for eligible students to receive their vaccine series for Hepatitis B, Meningococcal Disease, or Human Papillomavirus (HPV).
